Job Description:
The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Your Duties
* To conduct your duties in a manner that safeguards your own safety and the safety of others.
* Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
* Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to your Quality Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.
* Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for re-work; confirm re-work.
* Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight checks, temperature checks, label checks, metal detection, and checkweigher checks where required.
* Communicate any Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances through the Daily Quality Reports.
* Maintain measurement equipment following operating instructions and report repairs as needed.
* Support the production team and prevent the use of sub-standard ingredients and the release of poor quality or unsafe products.
* Assist the NPD and Production teams during production trials.
* Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the quality manager/supervisor.
* Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by your Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, or Technical Manager.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and creative.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* IT literate.
* Experience in a Quality Department within the food industry.
