Our client is looking for a commercially driven and proactive Business Development manager professional to help grow their global distributor network and international sales activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new overseas partnerships, identifying and researching new market opportunities, and building strong commercial relationships with international distributors.
Key Responsibilities for a Business Development Manager:
* Deliver monthly and weekly commercial targets and campaigns with the Market Development Director.
* Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and sales follow-up.
* Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, distributors, and key accounts.
* Identify and prioritise international market opportunities through market and territory analysis.
* Create strategic business plans with distribution partners to drive sustainable growth.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and develop strong product knowledge to support sales growth and customer engagement.
Key Skills for a Business Development Manager:
* Proven ability to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
* Commercially minded with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of margins, quotations, and sales targets.
* Experience in prospecting, pipeline management, and developing strategic customer and distributor relationships.
* Ability to understand customer needs, market insights, and create value-driven solutions.
* Organised and detail-focused with strong CRM, sales systems, and business software knowledge.
* Experience within hospitality, foodservice, or technically/manufactured product environments is advantageous.
