Operator Permanent Remote Home based Lead Instrument and controls This is a high-impact role where your deep technical knowledge will shape engineering standards, influence regulatory frameworks, and drive innovation across our gas distribution network. You’ll provide strategic engineering insight, ensure compliance with statutory and company standards, and mentor the next generation of engineers. From supporting asset risk assessments to leading external relationships with regulators and industry bodies, your work will underpin the safety, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure. What you will bring: HNC / HND 10 / 15 years Oil& Gas / Gas distribution /Chemical manufacturing Expertise in C&I Systems – Deep understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and SCADA in hazardous environments. Regulatory Knowledge – Strong grasp of EAWR, DSEAR, EPS and other relevant regulations. Engineering Judgement – Skilled in interpreting complex technical data, drawings, and standards to make sound decisions. Leadership & Communication – Proven ability to influence, mentor and manage across technical and stakeholder groups.
