Complex Care Assistant - Supporting a client with Cerebral Palsy in the Rossendale Area - Car Driver Essential - £13.91 per hour
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care/Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting a remarkable individual with Cerebral Palsy in the Rossendale area! This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to make a real difference each day by helping our client live life to the fullest!
Alongside clinical care tasks, you’ll support them in enjoying a range of enriching activities such as hydrotherapy, sensory exploration, and creative crafts. You’ll be part of a friendly, person-centred team where no two days are the same.
(You will be working as part of a small team on a 2:1 basis.)
Requirements
* A full clean driving licence is essential, and you must be able to drive the client’s motability vehicle.
Contracted Hours
Your contracted hours will be: - PA1 : 63.5 hours over a 4-week period (average of 15.5 hours per week)
* Week 1: Monday 11:30-5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-3:30pm (18.5 Hours)
* Week 2: Tuesday 12:30-5:00pm and Wednesday 11:30-5pm and Saturday 9am-3:30pm (16.5 Hours)
* Week 3: Monday 11:30-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 3:30pm (18.5)
* Week 4: Tuesday 12:30pm-5pm, Wednesday 11:30-5:00pm (10)

All training is provided, including e-learning, face-to-face sessions, practical and clinical training, and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and comprehensive. We also provide regular refresher training.
Candidate Requirements
* Self-motivated, well-organised, reliable, and a team player
* Experience in:
o Gastronomy care and administration of prescribed feed, fluids, and medication
o Tracheostomy care
o Personal care and skin integrity maintenance
o Moving and handling, including hoisting
o Health crisis activity monitoring and rescue medication administration
o Domestic duties (food prep, laundry, cleaning)
o Supporting travel and social activities
o Monitoring health and daily record keeping
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexibility for covering leave and sickness
