About The Role
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in International Business Development and Trade with experience of developing or delivering modules in this field.
The successful candidate will have a developing professional or academic experience of International Business Development and Trade and will play a role in developing modules in areas of relevance to the Warwick Manufacturing Group.
This appointment is on the University of Warwick Teaching Career Pathway, providing opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level. The role is education‑focussed; we look for candidates who can demonstrate experience of teaching in higher education and a passion for impactful education and positive student outcomes.
Candidates with a track record in research outputs but limited educational experience are unlikely to be shortlisted for this role.
We particularly seek applicants with knowledge of international business development and the operational practicality of such business development in a global market, including the legal aspects of global trade, incoterms, international contract negotiation, and cross‑border regulatory compliance.

Applicants must hold a doctorate, or an equivalent professional qualification alongside a postgraduate degree, and have experience teaching in a higher education context.
