Job Title: Yard Operative
Location: Newport
Assignment length: End of 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
Our client is a global leader in the field of chemistry, providing material solutions that are utilised across a wide range of major industries. They are now recruiting Site Maintenance Operative join their operation. They are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individuals to join their team for a 6-months with a possible extension.
Key Responsibilities
* General yard duties to maintain cleanliness and organisation
* Power washing and cleaning outdoor areas
* Operating road sweepers (training provided if necessary)
* General cleaning in and around the production areas.
* Assisting with other maintenance and site duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
* FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable
* Full UK driving licence desirable for operating on-site vehicles
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
