Our Specialist Community Public Health Nurses - Either School Nurses Or Health Visitors Wishing To Transition, Lead And Line Manage School Staff Nurses And Assistant Practitioners, To Deliver a Range Of Interventions To Improve The Health And Wellbeing Of Children, Young People And Their Families In East Sussex.

The nature of their work requires clinical input and effective leadership as well as good project management skills.
Working as part of the East Sussex School Health Team you will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme in accordance with national and local strategy/guidance.
A key part of your role will be to complete Health needs assessments, to support the identification of any unmet health needs and offer brief interventions and packages of care in line with evidence-based practice.
You will work in partnership with partner agencies in the identification of vulnerable children and contribute to the development of care plans, working in accordance with local and professional guidelines.
This role requires you to undertake regulated activities to both children and adults.
