Long-Term English Teacher - Secondary (Birmingham East)
January start | Full-time | Ongoing
We are supporting a large, mixed secondary academy in East Birmingham with a long-term English requirement. The school serves a richly diverse local community and is part of a well-established trust with a clear focus on inclusion, consistency, and raising standards.
This is a full teaching role, involving planning, marking, and assessment, teaching KS3 and KS4 English. You will be joining a committed English department that values clear routines, strong subject knowledge, and staff who can build positive relationships with pupils.

The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (preferred), or be a strong English Instructor
Have at least 6 months' experience teaching English in a long-term role, including planning and marking
Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations
Be reliable, adaptable, and committed to seeing a class through a longer placement
