Senior Business Analyst. Royal Mail is transforming its end‑to‑end Customer‑to‑Cash (C2C) processes through a major SAP S/4HANA programme — and we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Business Analyst to help shape the future of our Commercial, Pricing and Finance capabilities.
This is a high‑impact role where you’ll turn complex business needs into clear, scalable designs that support a modernised operating model and protect revenue across millions of customers.
The role
You’ll play a central role in defining how Royal Mail’s Commercial processes work in the future ERP world. That includes:
* Translating Commercial, Pricing and Finance requirements into clear, structured and prioritised designs
* Shaping decision‑ready options with trade‑offs, impacts and recommendations
* Aligning stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Finance, Customer Experience and Technology
* Supporting product and pricing design, ensuring simplification without losing commercial effectiveness
* Defining customer migration requirements, ensuring changes are understood and risks managed
* Driving Commercial data readiness, including data structures for pricing, billing and customer operations
* Maintaining high‑quality documentation, ensuring traceability and governance compliance
* Working closely with Technology and the System Integrator to ensure solutions reflect business needs
You’ll be the analytical engine behind Commercial decision‑making — structuring problems, simplifying complexity and ensuring designs are fit for the future.
Key Skills
* Strong business analysis experience in large‑scale transformation
* Background in Commercial, Pricing or Customer‑to‑Cash processes
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA in Commercial or C2C domains
* Ability to structure complex problems into clear options and recommendations
* Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional alignment skills
* Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements for both business and technology
* Analytical mindset with a focus on commercial outcomes
Desirable
* Knowledge of SAP BRIM, CPQ or similar pricing/billing platforms
* Experience integrating ERP with CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
* Experience in regulated or high‑complexity environments
* Familiarity with Royal Mail’s products and customer segments
