Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

Full-time Salary: Up to £55,000

Position Overview
Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Building Services design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and specification of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, domestic water, drainage, and specialist systems
2. Produce detailed calculations using industry software such as Hevp, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD
3. Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
4. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of building services
5. Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
6. Ensure designsply with current legislation, standards, and best practice (, CIBSE, Building Regulations, BREEAM)
Key Requirements
7. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
8. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical building services design
9. Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevp, or similar
10. Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice (CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS EN)
11. Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (, CIBSE, IMechE) desirable
12. Full UK driving licence preferred
