Please read on for more info on a fantastic opportunity to take a Salaried GP role at a training practice in Newcastle city centre on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
The role is at a well organised and stable practice with a strong team of existing Partners and Salaried GPs. The practice has a supportive and friendly working environment, with support and mentorship available for newly qualified GPs as well as support for GPs wishing to develop interest areas. There is also opportunities to get involved in teaching and training. There is an excellent team of clinical support staff including Nurse Practitioners, ACP's, Practice Nurses, HCA's and Pharmacists. There is also a strong team of clerical support staff, with staff specifically looking after workflow optimisation, resulting in a well managed workload.
Key Duties:
* Salaried GP Role
* 6 Sessions available, ideally Mon/Wed/Thurs
* Well managed workload of circa 15 consultations per session
* Patient list size of circa 15,000
* Stable team of Partners and Salaried GPs
* Excellent clinical support team including Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and HCA's
* Strong management and clerical support team in place
* Support for career development and furthering specialist interests
* Purpose built practice with on site parking
* High QOF score
* Systm One practice
Package and Benefits:
* Circa £10,500 to £11,000 per session per annum
* Indemnity covered
* 6 weeks annual leave
* 1 week CPD leave
* NHS pension enrolment
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:
* GMC registered GP
* Included on the NHS Performers List
* Right to work in the UK
