Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
* Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the worksite clean and organised
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
* Operate basic machinery and tools as required, following proper training
* Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a labouring or similar role is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
* Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required
* A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory
