We are currently looking for a friendly, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about animal care to join our West End team as a Patient Care Assistant.
The ideal candidate should be professional, confident and will strive to deliver the very best service for our patients and clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist the clinical teams to provide an optimal inpatient environment and aid in the smooth running of the practice.
* Under the guidance of Vet Nurses and Vet Surgeons, handle patients, run diagnostic tests, and set up and clean down a theatre.
* Meet and greet clients, book appointments, handle financial transactions, and keep the practice tidy.
Qualifications
* Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not necessary as candidates will go through an initial intense training programme.
* Excellent communication, customer service and IT skills.
* Driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will work 40h per week, Monday – Sunday, covering between 9am - 7pm.

Pets’nVets have branches all over Glasgow and the West where you may be placed. Our West End practices are located at Queen Margaret Drive and Scotstoun. Both are bustling practices providing excellent care for local pets.
This is a busy and demanding role. You must have excellent communication, customer service and IT skills. Driving licence is essential.
