Here at Long-Term Teachers we work with a number of lovely Primary Schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area.
We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time staff to work long-term at a Primary School in the BS24 area who can provide 1 to 1 support to SEND children as well as small group intervention support too.
The team of staff at the majority of the Schools we work with are caring, welcoming and very supportive, with a great passion of being part of the community, supporting pupils and their families with education and home lives.
The Role
There are a mix of opportunities available - settling into a position, being part of the team, understanding the needs of each pupil is key for the roles available.
You will be expected to work with the Class Teacher to support whole class teaching and behaviour and working 1:1 and with groups delivering intervention activities to advance their core subject knowledge.
You will be expected to:
* Have previous experience of working with children.
* Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.
* Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.
* Create a positive learning environment.
* Be great at working in a team environment.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
