CNC Programmer/Setter Location: Cross Hills Hourly Rate: £17.20 overtime available Overview A long-established manufacturer based in Keighley is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join its growing team. With several upcoming retirements creating new opportunities, this is an excellent time to step into a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment. Key Responsibilities * Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines. * Work from detailed engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Carry out self-inspection to ensure all components meet quality standards. * Identify and recommend improvements to machining processes and efficiency. * Support apprentices and uphold company values and teamwork culture. The Ideal Candidate * Proven background in CNC machining — milling, turning, or both. * Confident programming ability using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls. * Strong understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles. * Proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Performance Measures * High levels of “right first time” quality and on-time delivery. * Low Non-Conformance Report (NCR) rates. * Consistent adherence to housekeeping and 5S standards.
