Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good command of English, and the ability to work effectively with care plans.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health status to the healthcare team.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.
* Foster a warm and supportive environment that promotes dignity and respect for all residents.
Experience
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in care homes, is advantageous but not essential.
* Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is preferred.
* Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents and their families effectively.
