What is involved?
* Maintain Business Rates liabilities, exemptions, and reliefs in accordance with legislation, case law, and council procedures, achieving agreed clearance times as outlined in the Service plan.
* Conduct property inspections and external visits as required.
* Undertake targeted reviews of Business Rates exemptions and reliefs for accurate awards.
* Monitor new developments and demolitions to enable accurate revenue forecasting.
What will I need?
* Relevant Level 2 qualification or equivalent, and/or experience working in a finance or similar environment.
* Demonstrable ability to speak fluent English because customer-facing role per Section 7 of Immigration Act 2016.
* Eligibility to apply for a Basic Disclosure.
