Job Title: Product Governance Senior Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Governance Manager to join our team based in either our Edinburgh or Alderley Edge offices.
As the Senior Product Governance Manager, you will lead, support, and develop the Product Governance Team in delivering value-added and effective oversight of all UK propositions, involving key stakeholders in the UK Customer Team and the wider Group.
Your responsibilities include providing insights on the delivery of or risks to good customer outcomes, including the likelihood of foreseeable harm, through fair value assessments and ongoing monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and extensive knowledge of product governance best practices. You should be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and possess exceptional communication and people management abilities to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across the organization.
About the role
* Deliver fair value assessments and ongoing monitoring to ensure propositions deliver good customer outcomes.
* Continuously improve processes to deliver value for customers, members, and stakeholders.
* Support Directors and Heads of Proposition in managing risks related to customer outcomes.
* Escalate significant issues, risks, or failures to deliver required actions.
* Oversee and deliver regulatory and business reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
About you
* Experience in people management.
* Relevant experience in product management or similar roles.
* Strong customer focus and passion for delivering good outcomes.
* Ability to influence peers and management.
* Knowledge of Pensions, Protection, Life, and Savings propositions.
* Understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environment.
