Overview
HR Advisor (Part-time) role at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Maidstone. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll be the go-to expert for all things Employee Relations (ER), helping managers navigate complex cases and drive positive outcomes. The role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis, working 20 hours per week with hours and days that suit you. Some flexibility will be required.
What you’ll do on a typical day
* Lead and manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and flexible working requests
* Coach and train line managers to build confidence and capability in ER case handling
* Collaborate with the HR Operations Partner to identify trends and implement proactive solutions
* Support absence management through data analysis, Occupational Health liaison, and strategic initiatives
* Administer recruitment processes, contract changes, and onboarding activities
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to improving survey scores and workplace culture
What you need to succeed at GXO
* CIPD Level 3 qualified
* Strong experience in managing high-volume ER cases
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with Trade Unions
* Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNT)
* A flexible, organised, and customer-focused approach

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £17,066.66 per annum, pro rata based on hours, plus benefits.
