Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Advisor | Liverpool | ~£47,000 + Bonus + Further Benefits

This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of safety initiatives across large facilities, with support for further development of your Health and Safety qualifications and skills.
Responsibilities of the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Advisor include:
1. Support and develop Health and Safety initiatives across port terminals dealing with high-risk materials, advising on legal compliance and technical risks.
2. Help shape and maintain ISO management systems 9001, 14001, and 45001 across operational areas.
3. Engage with stakeholders including senior management, operational staff, and regulators to embed a positive safety culture.
4. Produce detailed, clear, and technically sound reports to support compliance and audits.
The successful Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Advisor will have:
1. Proven experience in a similar role within high-risk, heavy industry sectors.
2. NEBOSH General Certificate at a minimum, ideally working towards Level 5 qualification or higher.
3. Excellent communication skills with experience engaging colleagues and stakeholders in both written and spoken English.
4. Comfort navigating technical safety risks such as manual handling, large moving equipment, and hazardous materials.
5. Experience with ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 is desirable.
