Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join this incredible kitchen brigade. You will be responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting desserts and baked goods to the highest standard, contributing to the excellence of our dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to a consistently high standard
Ensure presentation and taste meet brand expectations
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team on menu development and seasonal dessert concepts
Maintain strict food hygiene, health and safety standards in the kitchen
Manage pastry ingredients, inventory, and ensure minimal wastage
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen
Strong knowledge of contemporary and classic pastry techniques
Passion for creativity and attention to detail in plating and presentation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must be local or able to commute; accommodation is not provided
