We’re seeking an experienced Senior Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing mechanical services team based in the Sheffield area. The role involves working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, supporting both local and clients across multiple sectors.
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems and associated equipment, while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Occasional overnight stays when working on accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems including
Split systems, VRV/VRF, CRAC systems, chillers, cold rooms, AHUs & ventilation units.
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and system performance testing.
* Ensure compliance with F-Gas, ISO, and H&S regulations at all times.
* Support junior engineers and uphold company quality standards.
* Complete all documentation via tablet/iPad for electronic job reporting.
What We’re Looking For
* F-Gas Category 1 certification (or equivalent).
* 5–10 years’ experience in air conditioning and refrigeration service & maintenance.
* Full UK driving licence and CSCS card.
* Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a professional approach.
* Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, SSSTS, or First Aid at Work.
