We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Legal team based in Bradford (BD4). This hybrid role, with expectations to work in the office at least two days a week. We are looking a Team Manager to join our Rights of Access Team. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of solicitors and paralegals, providing expert legal advice on wayleave agreements, trespass issues, diversions, and the Electronic Communications Code. Additionally, the Team Manager will offer insights and suggestions to enhance client processes and efficiency. What will you be doing? Coordinate and assist with all team cases. Develop a comprehensive understanding of all workstreams: Wayleave, Trespass, and Diversion. Manage and control the team's workflow and resources. Project manage additional projects alongside regular business activities. Analyse and report on team performance. Motivate and mentor the team to ensure they possess the knowledge and skills to meet agreed outcomes in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Continuously lead KPI and Management Information (MI) across workstreams, ensuring effective KPI/MI systems are in place for the teams. Ensure compliant claims handling in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Provide input in leadership meetings regarding the overall performance of the team. Lead service review meetings with stakeholders, presenting monthly MI including key insights, project updates, and changes made based on stakeholder feedback. Network within the industry and conduct horizon scanning to ensure the team is prepared to respond to changes that may impact service delivery. We tend to look for people with: Essential: Demonstrated experience in team management. Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and clients at all levels. Desirable: Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE or CILEX status. Experience in Telecom, Utility, or in-house environments. General land experience. Knowledge of the Electronic Communications Code or experience in real estate commercial transactions What’s in it for you?
