We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients team, based at either our Severnside or Droitwich locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our vision while enjoying a dynamic work environment.
Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch engineering projects that align with our strategic goals. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Continuously improve our systems and support enhancement activities across all areas.
* Understand Total Cost of Ownership to deliver effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.
* Manage project budgets closely, ensuring transparency from concept to closure.
* Coach and mentor site leadership teams in managing minor capital projects.
* Adhere to Müller’s project management and investment processes for technical investments.
* Ensure all project completion and handover documentation is submitted to relevant teams.
* Support the wider project team in achieving the OGSM objectives of the business.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science) or equivalent industry experience.
* Project management experience or qualification, preferably in an FMCG environment.
* Familiarity with project management systems (e.g., MS Project).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Capability to operate effectively at all levels within the business.
* A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel requirements.
