The Business Development Manager (BDM) will focus on generating new sales and will be based in the Leeds/Bradford area.
Responsibilities
* Self-generate leads and set sales appointments using existing client databases and market research.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Create weekly sales plans and report on progress.
* Conduct client research to identify opportunities.
* Develop and contribute to sales strategies and plans.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
* Support the Head of Sales and CEO with strategic initiatives.
Experience
* Proven sales experience, including face-to-face selling.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Negotiation skills, business research, and strategic development experience.
* Full clean driving license.
* Knowledge of payment solutions, card payments, and related technology.
* Track record in lead generation and account management.
* Self-motivated, driven, team-oriented, and flexible with working hours, especially within SMEs.
