Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the management of small-scale EPCM pharma projects based at our Client’s facility in County Durham NE UK.
The Assistant PM will work closely with the project team to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting objectives related to schedule, budget, and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the dynamic field of EPCM project management.
Responsibilities
* Project Coordination and Planning - Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets under the guidance of the Project Manager.
* Procurement and Vendor Management - Assist in the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management.
* Project Execution Support - Support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and identifying potential risks or issues.
* Quality Assurance and Compliance - Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
* Team Collaboration and Communication - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and priorities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management, or related field.
* On a path to achieving Chartered Engineer CEng status or equivalent
* Prior experience in project management or related roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
