Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and organisation. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position involves heavy lifting and the utilisation of equipment such as forklifts and warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
* Packaging finished products — ensuring all goods are correctly wrapped, labelled, and prepared for dispatch to meet customer and company standards.
* Stock Movement — transferring materials and finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement and recording.
* Forklift Operation — safely operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment.
* General housekeeping — maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company health & safety procedures.
* Stock Accuracy — assisting with stock checks, cycle counts, and reporting any discrepancies.
* Team Support — working closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
* Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures – to ensure productivity standards are met
Experience
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Previous experience operating Forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, Aisle Master).
The successful candidate will be put through Forklift testing by Boran Mopack Ltd.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Ability to work rotating shifts.
* Excellent time and attendance records.
Shifts
40hours per week (part-time is not available) on a 2-week rotating shift basis.
Overtime may be available if desired.
Week 1
6am – 2pm (Monday-Friday)
Week 2
2pm – 12am (Monday-Thursday)
