Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be a hard working, respectful and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for food. A strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations is preferred. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals within the fry station according to the restaurant's recipes and specifications.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment is required.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
