Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for a Registrar and Exhibition Manager located in Warwick. The Registrar and Exhibition Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the art exhibitions, including loan agreements, transportation, condition reporting, and installation of artworks. Additionally, the role includes liaising with artists, lenders, and institutions, ensuring the safe handling and storage of artworks, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications
* Experience in exhibition management and coordination
* Skills in negotiation, project management, and organization
* Knowledge of art handling, transportation, and installation procedures
* Understanding of loan agreements and condition reporting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* A degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field is preferred
* Familiarity with database management and record-keeping systems is beneficial
