Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: A degree or equivalent experience in information security, operational technologies, or a related discipline. Industry certifications (examples include CISMP, CISA, CISM, GCIP, ICSP, SEC/Net, ISA62443, etc.). Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the gas and wider energy sector. Working knowledge of common information security frameworks (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, Cyber Assessment Framework) and their application to the energy sector. Broad knowledge of operational technology (OT), threats, and risks, along with the ability to manage them within an operational context. Responsibilities: Identify and manage cyber risks across IT and OT networks. Lead third-level assurance activities and support regulatory submissions. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve security posture. Represent Cadent in forums and working groups, contributing to national cyber resilience. Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies to drive innovation.
