About the Role
Impact Recruitment are working with a well-established plant and equipment dealership based near Northampton, who are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join their expanding service team.

The position offers a varied and rewarding workload within a modern workshop environment, maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant and material handling machinery.
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant and construction machinery, including telehandlers, excavators, dumpers, and forklifts.
2. Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment meets required standards before hire or sale.
3. Perform LOLER and PUWER inspections and produce relevant certification.
4. Diagnose faults using laptop-based systems and technical manuals.
5. Liaise with the Service Department to provide accurate repair estimates and completion timescales.
