Position Overview
This is an interview position responsible for providing courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route. The role includes checking shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and performing related customer service functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
* Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
* Preferred: One year of customer-oriented business experience
* Must pass minimum thresholds on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
* Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment
* Willingness to work flexible schedules, including holidays, based on business needs
Additional Information
Candidates residing in Quebec must be bilingual (French and English). All candidates for driving positions must have a valid driver’s license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months. Candidates will be assessed through interviews, driver assessments, and review of driving records.
