What skills and experience we're looking for Holt House Infant school is part of the Holt House and Carterknowle Schools Federation. It is a highly inclusive, lively and happy school with a very positive atmosphere and ethos. We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who can ensure high outcomes for our children. Confidence, enthusiasm and commitment are all 'musts' here at our caring school where we are focused on meeting children's individual needs. Candidates should have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum, phonics and all equality issues. We are looking for candidates who share our vision and determination to have a cohesive community within our diverse school.

This role is to work in the first instance in F2. It is suitable for ECTs. ECTs will be supported in their training and development.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to disclose any cautions or convictions prior to interview. The amendments to the ROA Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain convictions and cautions are 'protected' and are therefore not subject to disclosure to employers. The successful candidate will complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and a Children’s Barred List check.
