About you

This role is for a total 37 hours per week, working 42 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days) for a period of maternity cover. The role of a Raising Achievement in the Academy is vital in promoting and supporting Year 11 pupils with their needs in their learning experience.

As our ideal candidate, you will have experience working with students in an educational setting and possess a solid understanding of a range of specialist equipment, as well as basic first aid knowledge. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key, including the ability to guide and encourage students, liaise with colleagues, and maintain confidentiality. A strong awareness of medical conditions such as asthma and epilepsy, along with a good understanding of health and safety procedures, is essential.
