About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where needed.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated appropriately.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
