The purpose of the role is to provide technical and administrative management support to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), including planning and managing activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for the CCO, managing their agenda, administrative issues, and operational tasks.
2. Manage the CCO's schedule to optimize time and handle conflicting priorities.
3. Arrange logistics for meetings and travel in accordance with the CCO's commitments.
4. Utilize desktop tools effectively for daily tasks and scheduling.
5. Handle office administration tasks, including planning and scheduling.
6. Ensure tasks are completed with high accuracy using Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
7. Assist in constructing presentations and documents in collaboration with managers and executives.
8. Support project management by tracking deadlines and planning ahead.
9. Monitor expenses related to travel and other role-specific costs.
10. Promote a risk-aware mindset and demonstrate TEAMS behaviors to foster a strong risk culture.
11. Support the bank in meeting its legal, regulatory, and stakeholder obligations concerning Financial Crime Compliance, including identifying and mitigating risks like money laundering, sanctions non-compliance, terrorist financing, bribery, corruption, and tax evasion.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience providing high-level administrative support at an executive level, maintaining confidentiality.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
* Proactive approach to anticipating management needs.
* Educational qualification to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English, or relevant recognized qualification.
