We are recruiting a Senior Sector Analyst to focus on the delivery of high quality sector and client research and analysis to the firm, through written reports and presentations, using both desktop and primary resources. Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. Candidate Overview We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience: Proactively producing actionable research, analysis and insight covering the Retail, Sport & Hospitality sector, market trends, clients and competitors Developing a deep understanding of the Retail, Sport & Hospitality sector and becoming embedded with the sector leadership team to understand, analyse and disseminate research on core trends, challenges and opportunities Developing and promoting content, ideas and solutions that help inform the sector strategy, embedding client and market knowledge and therefore positioning the firm for new client opportunities. Taking the lead on complex research projects and tasks, negotiating project scope, required inputs and outputs and liaising with internal and, where necessary, external parties and seeing those projects through to completion Analysing and interpreting both Pinsent Masons internal and third party data sets to spot opportunities for services to new and existing clients Originating and contributing to thought leadership in the firm, from initial idea generation and promotion to desk and primary research, report writing and presentation of findings Identifying, validating and developing innovative research solutions that help our lawyers get the best results from an appropriate level of support using off-the-shelf third party resources, artificial intelligence or bespoke research solutions What happens next?
