Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser to join our team. Responsibilities
* Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
* Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
* Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of medications.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant/dispenser is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice would be an advantage.
