Housekeeper Job Retford Nottinghamshire – Live in or Daily - £40,000+ GPA
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after a large family home in Nottinghamshire. This is a part‑time residence and the family currently spend on average just 2 months per year in the UK spending time in Nottinghamshire and also Berkshire. Their main residence is overseas but they are planning on spending more time in the UK over the coming years.
You will be based at the Retford property as well as travelling down to the property in Berkshire to prepare it for their use, possibly staying with them for the weekend and closing the house down when they leave.
They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and who can run both properties efficiently in their absence, getting them ready for use and generally making their life easier.
General duties will include:
* Hands on cleaning of both properties
* Laundry and ironing
* Wardrobe management
* Packing and unpacking
* Shopping for household and personal items
* Lifestyle administration
* Dealing with trade and contractors
* Monitoring any maintenance issues
* Light cooking a bonus
* Liaising with other members of the team (exterior gardening and maintenance)
Driver essential – excellent references and Enhanced DBS check
Self‑contained accommodation can be offered for Housekeepers looking for a live in role otherwise local candidates will also be considered and are preferred.
Full‑time role – you will be required to work weekends when they are in residence otherwise working Monday to Friday.
