About the Team
The MIDAS team are a busy team of 3 Senior MIS Officers and 2 MIS Officers, working as part of the wider ICT Development Service, and reporting to the Team Manager - Applications Support. The team provides MIS support for Arbor, Bromcom and SIMS to around 180 schools in Warwickshire and beyond, via telephone and email support, consultation, and online training and workshop delivery.
About the Role
You will provide comprehensive MIS advice, guidance, consultancy and support to customers, with a primary focus on SIMS and Bromcom.
You will act as an escalation point for MIS Officers, and investigate more complex issues with the software providers.
You will develop timely, detailed documentation to support schools with statutory data returns e.g School Census, Workforce Census, End of Keystage, within your area(s) of responsibility.
You will be pro-active in your self-development in line with MIS system and DfE requirement changes.
You will provide face to face or remote training as required by the customer. This may take the form of 1:1 training, or online training courses and workshops.
Key Requirements
-Knowledge of MIS systems, particularly SIMS and Bromcom
-Training delivery experience
-Training documentation writing experience
-Knowledge of school processes would be advantageous
