Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of our nursery. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment for young learners.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
* Supervise and interact with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Support the lead nursery staff in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
* Help manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children is essential; nursery experience is highly desirable.
* A background in early childhood education or childcare management is an advantage.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
