Hi-Force is a thriving, family-owned company that has been trading since 1982. An opportunity has arisen for an Assembly Shop Operative to join our team in Daventry to support the Assembly Department in achieving required delivery dates.
Job Type: Full-Time (39 hours per week)
Working hours:- 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday (30 minute unpaid break).
Salary:- £26,364.00 per annum (£13.00 per hour).
Please note: - this is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming a permanent role in the future.
Reporting to: Assembly and Inspection Manager
Duties
* Laser marking/engraving of components.
* Masking assembled products prior to paint spraying.
* Delivery and collection of components from external processors.
* Assisting the packing departments ensuring that products are packed correctly.
* Responsible for the highest level of housekeeping, cleaning the factory floor using the battery driven scrubbing machine as required.
* Accurate completion of all documentation to include manufacturing order procedures.
* Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate.
Person Specification
* Ability to manage own workload and use time effectively.
* Excellent housekeeping.
* Ability to work against set output targets as required.
* Willing to take responsibility with minimum supervision.
* Clean driving licence required.
* Awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other departments.
* High level of attention to detail.
