Overview
This is an opportunity to join a highly motivated and supportive team within the Home Improvement Agency. The team supports customers to maintain, repair, adapt or extend their homes and manages projects in group homes or commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed property surveys.
* Identify building defects.
* Provide technical advice.
* Prepare schedules of work.
* Generate computer plans.
* Follow a tender process.
* Valuate works.
* Project management.
* Conduct site inspections.
* Quality control.
* Authorise interim and final payments.
Qualifications
* Experience working in the construction industry.
* Good knowledge of property repair, renovation and adaptation.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* HNC in construction (or equivalent) or a degree in building surveying.
* Well‑organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently as part of a surveying team.
