Role: Commissioning Engineer – North East
You will support customers with installing and commissioning our solutions as part of customer orders incorporating the software, graphics and building management control systems. Working in the North East area.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure a safe and healthy working environment at office or site locations, following site requirements, project method statements and risk assessments, and Schneider Electric Health & Safety Systems.
* Pre‑commission control panels and field devices onto new and existing systems.
* Commission controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control system.
* Integrate third‑party systems onto existing systems.
* Write and commission controller software through to the graphical user interface.
* Handover and demonstrate the completed system to customer or consultant.
* Design and manage installations with the support of Project Managers.
* Maintain relationships with new and existing customers to become their trusted expert.
* Configure and commission graphics and document commissioning progress, including site reports and assistance with O&M manuals.
Skills & Experience
* Background in electrical engineering or related subject is advantageous.
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
* Knowledge of the principles of controls for HVAC.
* Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluency in English (written and verbal).
* Full driving licence.
