About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us gives you a chance to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to develop personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communicating with families, all carried out with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, you should have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The key qualities we seek are positive energy, good communication, time management, and kindness.
