GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Sheffield. This role offers the opportunity to support pupils in their learning, help them achieve their potential, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Role Overview: As a TA, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the classroom. You will provide 1:1 or small group support, help with lesson delivery, and assist in fostering a safe and engaging learning environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support teachers in delivering lessons across various subjects. Provide additional help to individuals or small groups of pupils. Encourage positive learning behaviours and engagement in class activities. Assist in preparing resources, maintaining displays, and supporting classroom organisation. Observe and record pupil progress, sharing feedback with teaching staff. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
