Are you passionate about empowering students and shaping their university experience? Do you thrive in a dynamic, student-focused environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Lancaster University Management School is seeking to recruit a full-time Student Programmes Officer, a pivotal role supporting education services in the faculty. You will be based mainly in the Department of Marketing and will lead and manage a team of student-facing professional staff. You’ll collaborate with academic departments, student and education services, and external partners to create an outstanding learning experience. The current team includes four administrators and is part of a broader Education Services Team, led by the Faculty’s Education Services Manager.
You will be based in the Department of Marketing but may work across other academic departments as needed. This is a maternity cover position until the end of June 2026.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience managing a team or supervising colleagues to achieve results and drive continuous improvement.
* A self-motivated team player committed to professional development for yourself and your team.
* Experience delivering high-quality administrative services in Higher Education or a relevant environment.
* Ability to lead quality assurance, quality enhancement, timetabling, and assessment processes.
* Proficient IT skills and adaptability to new systems and software in a digital environment.
Why join our team?
* Generous holiday entitlement: 25 days (pro-rata), plus university closure days and bank holidays.
* Access to pension scheme and flexible benefits scheme.
* A highly collegial, stimulating environment that values career development, equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). We support family-friendly and flexible working policies and are committed to sustainability, well-being, and decolonising efforts.
If you’re excited about creating an exceptional student experience and want to be part of a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you!

The start date is as soon as possible. This is a fixed-term position until June 2026 to cover maternity leave.
