Finance Manager - Hampshire
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year | Full-time - Permanent
A Finance Manager is sought to join a growing, dynamic business based in Hampshire. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to oversee a broad spectrum of financial activities, including management accounts, payroll, multi-currency bank reconciliations and system processes. You will also lead and develop a small, high performing finance team, helping to drive efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement across the function.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and multi-entity year end accounts
* Support for audits, VAT and US sales tax returns
* Daily bank reconciliations, payroll administration and supplier payments
* Managing sales agent commissions and responding to financial queries
* Leading, coaching and developing a Credit Controller and two Finance Assistants
* Driving process improvements and liaising with external finance software support
Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience (QBE)
* Previous experience in a similar Finance Manager role
* Proven experience managing and developing a team
* Payroll experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Within reasonable commuting distance of Romsey
