The Role
As an Assistant Town Planner, you'll be working closely with experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed‑use developments. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
* Conducting site appraisals and planning research
* Supporting senior team members with project delivery
* Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
* Contributing to planning strategy and development proposals
About You
* Degree (and ideally MSc) in Town Planning or a related discipline
* Working towards (or keen to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
* Some relevant planning experience (public or private sector)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive and commercially aware mindset
