The Patil Lab is looking for a Research Assistant to work on an experimental evolution project. The project is funded by Wellcome Leap Inc., and the successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Research Associate and the Principal Investigator.
We are looking for someone educated to a Master's Degree level in Microbiology or a related subject area such as Biological Sciences. Experience in anaerobic cultivation of gut bacteria is essential. The role requires independent handling of routine microbiological and aseptic techniques.
The Patil Lab is a multidisciplinary research environment that hosts many international researchers, and the successful candidate is expected to work in this interdisciplinary setting.
Fixed‑term: the funds for this post are available from 1 May 2026 until 1 March 2027, at first instance.
